Minnesota Fishing Report Clubs - ONLY 20 FREE MEMBERSHIPS Per Area - Join Today - FREE   03/08/2018

Fishing Minnesota has added a new menu item (see above) called Fishing Report Clubs. It's a way to keep the really good fishing reports coming and being shared only with those who also provide detailed fishing reports. We will only approve new members who request to join if they have already posted a recent fishing report in the area forum, associated with the Fishing Report Club area  you want to join. Initially we are going to limit the number of regular memberships, in the Fishing Report Clubs, to the top 20 members in each Club, to those with the best frequency and quality fishing reports provided in the club and less so in the regular fishing report forum open to all members. The higher quality fishing report reserved for the club of course. If  you want see detailed fishing reports/tips  around your area and will share your detailed fishing report as soon as you join, then Join Now! Some of the clubs are starting to fill fast. Use the Fishing Reports Club link in the Menu above (after you've posted a fishing report in the regular area forum) and request to Join.

Just found out my son will be wrestling in Parkers Prairie thsi Saturday...changes our plans.

I was going to pull the house up. Is there any lakes close to PP for a few Pike or Crappies?

Adley is right on the south side of Parkers, you'll see it from 29. I was out mid-December. There were a lot of guys spearing and then catching crappies at sunset. The access isn't very well marked, it's actually south of where you see the lake from the highway. Turn west by the big brown tin buildings (I think it's a potato chip place) and keep going back to the city park. The whole lake is quite shallow, but there was already 5 inches when the other lakes were just freezing over. Have a good time in the deep freeze!

The reason MIlle Lacs gets hit so hard is its so close to the metro, can go fishing for the day real easy. With lower gas prices, people are willing to drive to LOW to fish and spend the additional resources for a room. Once gas prices go back up to $4 per gallon, watch the fishing pressure change on the lakes further away. When I got my place 10 years ago, the resort I am at was super quiet in the summer to the point I was nervous they would close...not the case anymore!

1 more year I bet, then we part ways.  We lost to many players this year for various reasons. If we dont make some noise next season I think he is gone.

I think we should go 7-3 here the last 10 games, then again we have lost a bunch of games against teams we should have beat. Will it be enough to make the playoffs?

There are to many 20-28 inch eyes they eat everything.  Allow anglers two fish size don’t matter you get two you are done. Bring in extra dnr and fine people who keep fishing. Just like on the rainy river.

I am from out of state and have been trying to research this issue, from a anglers point of view what do you think is causing the issue? we had a issue in Missouri where the state shocked up walleyes to strip them for eggs and the boats disrupted the spawn and once disturbed the walleyes aborted spawning. now this was our native river spawn fish that spawned earlier than the northern strains that they ended up mass stocking, those fish do not seem to get as large as our native strain our state record weight: 21 lbs. 1 oz.  any insights would be welcomed

Some more dandies Royce. Yes, I do miss seeing that Red Pine stand in his photos leech, it definitely adds to the north woods feel of the shot....

Just remember guys, only one lake in the state has a harvest quota!  It is the one in the "worst" shape. all our big lakes lakes including LOW track harvest but dont employ a quota.  The biologists in these areas seem to have a nice grasp of the conditions of these lakes.

Eat some smaller fish and let the beasts grow.

The loose handle issue was the very reason I went out and got the mud mixer.  Now the drill can just stay in the shop.  I did find the handle worked much better on the right side of the drill than the left.
