I am wondering if there are any good lakes between the metro and St. Boni or any areas around it. I know that Tonka is right there but I don't have any experience with that lake and don't know if I would have the time to figure it out. Just lookin' for some of the little lakes around and wondering if there are any fish biting in any of them. Any info would be great. If there are any good spots on tonka on the south end that you guys can think of and access points to get to them I would be interested in knowing that too. Thanks.

If you go down to highway 5, you will have much better luck on finding a smaller lake There is Stieger and Auburn in Victoria, Parley between Victoria and Waconia and of course there is Waconia. North of St Boni there is Whaletail. That is just a few I can think of right now.

If you want to stay on highway 7, go north on 101 to the new Gray's bay landing on Tonka.
