How do you cook Mud Puppies?

6 posts in this topic

First Post... Great site - hello to all. I fished the St Croix by Bayport this weekend. Caught (4) small sturgeon and at least a dozen mud-puppies. Man, I thought eel-pout were ugly! No walleyes, saugers or crappies, but hope for better luck with them next time!

MMMMMMMM those mud puppies taste good. Just steam them like an oyster. A little drawn butter and tabasco sauce!! They slide right down. grin.gif
