Walker Lake

Fished Walker Lake on 5/8/04 for crappies. Didn't catch a one. The weather was beautiful. Did catch a few perch and one walleye, which was odd in 6 feet of water on a hook and bobber rig. Anyone know if the crappies have turned on yet or are they done and where they are at??

It has been a tough bite for me too. Had the boys out the last two days and all we could catch were small SF and lots of bass.

Walker is going to be a surprise for this years opener, normally not a bad lake but with the low water levels the spawn run through Walker was down significantly and the DNR had to use the Otter tail river site.
