one of my friends in ely sent me a photo of frost and 29 degrees on his truck thermometer. This was a few days back. i am waiting for him to call and ice is on the lakes.

Getting closer.  Southern Minnesota lows in the 40s next week.  Time to spool up the ice gear.

Moose - your wife is right!  LOL!!

I have to admit though, we're already talking about ice plans.  And the WE includes my wife.  Since we've been able make things more comfortable for her, she's been into it a lot more.

But the most I've done to get ready so far is make some coat racks for the wheel house.  Line and reel work is WAAYYY down the line for me!
