Tough day today. Sight fished holes in the weeds. Saw some very very nice fish. Could only get one of them to bite

Well it was a cold weekend hole hoppen up where we were but we iced about 35 sunnies & crappies and a few bonus pike to fight and put back. Only kept 4 crappies for a dinner. Hope that was ok?

Still plenty of safe ice up north for travel!

Got out this morning on Vermilion and had a decent crappie bite. Also iced 2 walleyes and 1 jumbo.

Not really sure what's that's supposed to mean. None of us are keeping over our limit if that's what your implying. A lot of us only keep enough for a meal and throw the rest back. If your trying to be a troll or something please stop.

Well I hope to get out one more time this coming weekend to put some crappies on the ice up at my buddies cabin up in Outing. I hope all my eyeguy tricks work! Lol.

I am holding to get out in Alexandria area this weekend if possible this weekend hopefully can still walk out! Long range forcast shows Mid 50s again next Friday so this weekend will probably be my last of the year. One of the weirdest winters of up and down weather.

      Don't take me wrong, I'm not anti-technology.  Battery powdered items will always have their place.  I'm mean you don't want your girl friend or wife in the bedroom playing for their gas powered adult toys!!  That would be a bit loud and smokey!

      That’s right. My 84 year old dad loves his electric chain saw. Light weight and quiet. Besides, at his age he’s not cutting a bunch. Where as myself I want something with more power and heavier duty.  Look at how many people have switched back to gasoline cars after running one in winter if you travel a lot.   As long as my strike master works I’ll keep using gas. Maybe my next will be electric, but who knows,  you can find used gas ones pretty reasonable as others buy electric.

      I think electric items have their places, I just don't think large commercial jobs are going to be able to work well with them. Can't see a logging crew out in the woods all day changing batteries!
