Schmidt Lake

I'll save anyone the trip to Schmidt Lake.  As of 5/15 the lake has been Posted as Private Property and boats are not allowed on it.  The water levels are really low, so I'm sure it is past the right of way now.

So is there some anal person who measures the waterline from the center of the road each day just waiting to see when they can post it?

Yeah and running their sprinklers 24x7 to draw the lake down too.     lol

the reason the signs will go up is the area guys access is now washed out to road right of way.  The Schmidt family owns all the land around the lake. and they do measure it.  but the measurement doing down hill or straight as surveyed? Some body could measure the other RoW signs.

It isn't worth fishing anyway is it? Maybe they could charge people to access "their" lake.

Curious, just drove by today and there are boats landing there. I didn't see any signs either.

Within a week of me posting the original, the signs disappeared and boats returned.
