I hope not. I would always like to see the northern team win, even though Roseau and Warroad seem to be the ones with the advantages.

I can't predict yet, just because I haven't seen the teams play, so maybe it's too late for me. I have to say, the games I have watched......the speed of play and talent has risen tremendously in the last 2 years. These guys actually play hard and seem tough on their skates and stick. It's actually worth watching again.

A -- St Thomas (playing down a division and still not an absolut)vs. Warroad and Warroad as the winner

AA -- Benilde vs Roseau with Roseau winning and being the first team in MN High School history going 31-0

Some great hockey to watch this weekend

I'm sticking with Roseau in AA. I don't think Warroad has the depth but I'll pick them, too.

the consolation game between Woodbury and Blaine has the potential to be a heck of a game as well.

OK, let's make it St. Thomas Academy in A. I didn't think they looked that good against Little Falls.

Sorry, been offline for a while. Yes you can STILL drive out there if you're brave. I've seen people do it last night and they are probably still driving out there today. I'm going to go check in a bit, fishing has been pretty stellar as of late.

2.20.17 Sunset Lodge Fishing Report Hello from the NW Angle! We still have lots of ice up here, however the snow pack is diminishing rapidly, especially with the warm temps and rain in the forecast. On the Minnesota side, fishing away from structure seems to be most productive with target depth being from 22-30 feet. Gold continues to be the hot color. The amount of perch we are seeing in our buckets continues to increase. Fishermen on the Canadian side are still reaching their crappie limit with ease, fishing holes between 29 and 35 ft. A variety of baits are producing including, wax worms, mustache baits and dead minnows. Until next week, Sunset Lodge Ice Team
