Thanks for the good times on Waconia !

Well, after today I will not be on a Computer for about a month during my move to Montana and getting settled in.

I want to Thank Jim, Cindy and the boys at Mases In Towne Marina for all you did for me over the last 8 years. It has been a pleasure being a customer. All you guys I met and fished with have been the greatest, we may not have caught much fish on some occasions, but we had fun, which is what it is all about.

I'll stop in on-line from time to time to see how your doing on Waconia, maybe give you a tip or two, maybe even give up a GPS spot if I am in the mood \:D

Hey Sarpy,

It was a pleasure meeting you. Too bad the action wasn't better on Sat! Good luck in your venture West. Take care and if you feel the good will to pass on those spots I'd always be willing to keep them "warm" for you!!!

Stay in touch!

Dino

You already know most of them! Besides if I come up with one I forgot to tell you about, I have your e-mail address.

It was fun on Sat, too bad the eyes weren't bigger, heck most of the perch I caught were bigger than them eyes.

Sarpy,

Take care out west! And if you are ever back in town, shoot me an email and maybe we can hook up for some fishing on Waconia. You'll have to be the guide though. =)

I'm thinking the same thing!  When will I get another chance to target walleyes and bass with a long rod in February!

Was up yesterday.  Tried going out of Stoney Point the sand landing is undo able ice ridge out a ways and did not see any tracks going out.  The boat launch has a pressure ridge in front and looked like ATV were following the ridge  toward the point.\ There were two trucks out there no idea how they got there.  we finally went out of Pine Point.  Ice conditions are perfect. No slush no water on the road,   You cannot get out to the trench from here ice heave between. We drilled some holes and a lot of  5 inch perch. When we were going out we asked if the tullies were biting, and he said no  not yet Seems to shallow out any where out there. The was in excellent shape as a lot of wheel houses were coming out.  4 wheel drive was not used all day.  Ice cleats would have been nice to have.Hope this helps

Most of the mercury pollution in our lakes is from rain.  That's why lakes deep in the back country also have consumption advisories.

Drove by Grays Bay this morning. The one and only house left has now partially fell thru. Not sure how this one is coming out.
