I know this is a stupid question for you locals but.....Is there a slot? and.... Can one drive out to the rock pile with a full size truck?

I checked off Cameron last weekend and people were driving out there but didn't look way out to the middle. Focused on getting to Slims intead of looking out to the rock pile I guess. blush.gif

No slot yet. And most folks have been driving out, last night I measured 17 inches off of Cameron. I think you'll be okay with this cold weather we have coming in this weekend. But always use caution, I saw some guy blasting across the lake a couple days ago in an old surburban... crazy.gif

Good for him making those signs I enjoy his views in a nutshell!

Access is in good shape at Hole in the Day.  Ice is in good shape and travels MUCH easier than last year.  But that was due to slush getting rutted and refrozen.  These warm temps might play that way again.  But for now all is well. Fishing though... the evening walleye bite was short like usual but finicky for us.  1 - 14 inch eye iced and one other lost.  Set line and shiner was responsible for the 14.  The hooked and lost fish was on a spoon with minnow head but I had to let it hang still for the commitment.  I had several other lookers but they just wouldn’t eat it.  Two lines became one but no bump!  Nice day to be on the lake.

Been past there many times, never was able to read the whole sign since slowing down could get a guy run over.  Thanks.

Thanks for the up dates, we were going to come up today to find a different spot to park but have to work. Weather is supposed to be good. Hope to get on the board too.

I don't know, not getting your mail delivered to your door is a very egregious situation.  He also has a great sense of history indicating he has vision.  Letting us know he erected his sign in 2008 provides a vivid example of his powers.  He sees the future well...he gonna be pissed at somethin!  A bit of a Nostradamus.
