Driving on the ice

Is it safe to drive on the ice around Sauk Centre, Albany or Upsala, MN? How thick is she so far? Thanks!

a lot of people driving on sauk but some spots may be questionable. from what i understand cedar and pine by upsala probably arent safe but it has been a while since i have been over that way

if you are going to drive on Sauk, check with the local baitshop first ..aka fletchers bait and tackle.. sauk lake is npothing more that a widening of the sauk river and ice can be spotty all yr long
