Are there any known bad spots of ice that we should be aware of? Our group will be down there this weekend with a couple of wheel houses & 4 wheelers. Rumor has it a truck went through not to long ago, is this spot marked??

thanks for your time

The lakes took a beating and I was not out on Sunday to see the damage. Saturday I saw the first 4 to 5 inches turn soft. Be careful and check the ice conditions

Sometimes you need em that size.      You guys did push me over the edge so I had to go out Sunday afternoon.  Thanks for that.

I was going to try to go tomorrow (walking out in metro) despite the rain which appears to be light and I have a portable. Are you concerned about the ice conditions deteriorating throughout the day?  Or just for the rest of the week?
