Last night report

3 posts in this topic

Fished last night and this morning out of Westwind. 3 guys- 5 keeper walleye and 2 crappie. We released about 25 walleye and 1 34" northern. The road was great and handled my 1 ton diesal with wheel house.

What depth are Westwinds houses at? Or how many miles are their roads plowed?

Thanks! smile.gif

I HAVEN'T FISHED OUT OF THEIR HOUSE BUT HAVE BEEN ON THEIR ROADS AND FISHED OFF OF THEM. BUT A WILD GUESS IS AS LONG AS THEY ARE 2 OR 3 MILES OUT, ABOUT 14 FEET DEEP AND THAT GOES PRETTY MUCH FOR THE ENTIRE LAKE THAT I HAVE FISHED ON THE LAST 5 YEARS.

Had a jake come in at 6:25, thought it was a hen with it putting and cuts.  No gobble or fanning at all.  Caught us by suprise when we seen a little beard.  No bird for Abi yet.

Finally made it out again.  This time with Abigail.  Bumped 2 birds on the roost walking out.  Hope they weren't toms or there are more near by!   Have heard a couple of gobbles in the distance.  Nothing close.   Good luck
