Just wanted to say thanks to Chad Benson. 4 of us went up from the 19-21. Chad had us on the walleye, and his reports were very accurate. Chad put us on fish and we caught about 30 to 50 a day. Most came at night durring the night bite, and on our last night we left up the rattle wheels after one in the morning. You know its a succesful trip when you get sick of catching walleye by the end of it. Talking with friends sounds like we might try to get back up late Jan. to see about that crappie bite. Hopefully there are shaks left. Once again tanks Chad, you really made a believer outta everyone in the group when it comes to fishing on Upper Red. And for others reading the post, larger gold kastmasters where the lure of choice when it came to producing fish on our trip.

That's what I love about URL. I don't mind only taking home two... I'm more of an action fisherman anyway. As long as get action when I fish, I really don't care what I take home. The crappies are definitely a bonus!
