New to Burnsville

Hello everyone,

Just wondering if anyone had some spots in the Burnsville area to go fishing. Or a good place to get some area lake maps. Thanks for any help.

There are quite a few lakes close by, I would try -Crystal, Keller, Lac Lavon.

Buy the lake map book for $20.00 or use the DNR lake finder website. There are lots of ice fishing lakes around

Thanks I was going to go check out lac lavon this weekend. Any spring or anything I should be leary of?

I'm not aware of any springs but I have heard of people having some pretty good luck under some power lines. Also if you even check out crystal try to the left of the boat launch where the fishing pier is in the summer. There is 20-30 foot drop off not far from shore that has produced some nice crappies and northerns. Good luck.
