Leftover Oil

3 posts in this topic

I will have about a 1/2 gallon of HP Injector Oil remaining in the reservior at the end of the season. Do I have to get it out of there, or can I leave it and treat it with something?

Thanks

Just leave it in the reservior. No need to treat it, it doesn't degrade like formulated gas.

No problem to leave it. Do not add anything to it.

Actually it would be better to fill the tank - there is less chance of condensation with a full tank than an empty one (that applies gasoline or oil.)

In addition, with the gas tank, treat your last tank(s) of gas with gasoline stabilizer. For storage a stabilizer is better than a general purpose additive - ie Seafoam is general purpose that helps with preserving, Stabil is designed for storage. Also AMSOIL has a stabilizer: Gasoline Stabilizer (plain direct name, but it gives up to 18 months storage protection. With any gasoline for storage, you need to have it in the gasoline before hand and run the treated gasoline through the engine and carburetor or injection system for full protection.

My garage roof is leaking from last few weeks and i am very much tensed about it because i have tried many things to block the leaks but nothing can prevent it.So i must call Roof Repair expert for this or is there any way to prevent those leaks.

Thanks. So it hasn't changed much then. Still might go give it a whirl!

If you haven't read it yet, a couple of slobs are about to ruin it for the rest of us. Pick up your garbage and respect private property. The land owners who allow access to the lower sucker river are about to shut it down because they are so fed up with it. http://minnesotasteelheader.blogspot.com

With the wind being fairly strong today I opted to hit the back waters of Little Rock. Have done goid there in yrs past.... so I figured it would be worth a shot. Finding crappies was pretty easy, they were holding tight to the brush and downed trees. Finding crappies over 8inches was tough...lol.  I don't think I broke 9inches. But did manage one big carp. Guessing right around 30in, pulled me and the yak all over the lake before I got it boat side

Hit the one down by Watkins a couple times this winter. There were a lot of people that fished it this last winter. Got gills and crappies of all different sizes. If your looking for keeper size fish, other area lakes will provide better numbers. Haven't been on the other one of  in a few yrs. There were good numbers of 6-7in sunfish if I remember right.
