How late in the Ice Fishing season do the resorts keep their bigger ice houses on the lake?

As late as they can, most pull them March 1st

We usually try to stay out there until at least the 3rd week of March just because that is when the best crappie fishing of the winter is. It all depends on the weather and ice. One year we pulled back to shore April 8th, another year it was March 12th. Mother Nature rules. ooo.gif

Its always hard to pull off the ice that time of the year, the crappies are going nuts and we have to think about pulling off the ice.

I had a battery op Repala a few years ago and sold it to someone else at our campground. Didn't like the way they just zipped through without following the fillets and lost a lot of meat. Really suk's on a partly frozen fish!   Mine came with a case.
