Melgeorge's Resort at Elephant Lake

1 post in this topic

A few posts on one thread reported that Melgeorge's is now a Common Interest Community and implied that the resort may be out of business. As Secy-Treasurer of the CIC, I wish inform you of the resort's current status. The CIC requires cabins to be in the rental pool much of the fishing season and most are available year around. They were all renovated and sold to private owners in the past two years, and two new cabins have been built. Ownership of the adjacent Elephant Lake Lodge (inn, bar & restaurant) as well as management of the now privately owned cabins continue to be by the Melgeorge family. The reason that one poster could not email the resort is the resort's email address was changed several years ago to

We are alive and well and pleased to be a new sponsor on fishingminnesota.

I had a battery op Repala a few years ago and sold it to someone else at our campground. Didn't like the way they just zipped through without following the fillets and lost a lot of meat. Really suk's on a partly frozen fish!   Mine came with a case.
