6 posts in this topic

Anybody in the DL area know how long it takes to get to Ada from Detroit Lakes.

Google maps says it is like an hour and 20 minute drive. Is this accurate?

thanks in advance

That may be a little on the long side. I would have to say a little over an hour.

Yep, what huntnfish said. Should be there in under an hour and ten minutes.

Make sure you don't take MN 32 through Twin Valley, the highway is closed due to bridge construction.

Real easy way is to take Highway 10 to highway 09 by the buffalo river speedway ( between Hawley and Glyndon) then north on 09 will take your right there.

Take 10 to 32 to Twin Valley and then take the airport road, 27 west until you hit gravel then to 24 go north for 3 miles and then your on 200 go west about 5 and your there. Probly take you an hour.

Plus, resorts would love to have you, now that no one goes to them due to the closing of walleye fishing.

Must of been tough to sit there looking at the lake and not fish! Can't believe it was 60 up there today!? Not what I was hoping for. Didn't hit 50 down by the cities today.

Looking at staying at Thunderbird or Sha Sha resort.  We want to spend some time fishing the Canadian side as well.  How long does it take to get from there to the Canadian Causeway bridge?  I've got a Lund ProV with a 200hp and usually run about half throttle.
