jet ski's

3 posts in this topic

I was under the impression that there was a law prohibiting jet ski use after 8PM. Can anyone confirm this? If I am correct who do you call to report violaters? I am seeing more and more jet ski's after 8 and it does get a little annoying.

PWCs may not be operated greater than no-wake speed within 150 feet of non-motorized boats, shore (unless launching or landing skiers directly to or from open water), docks, swim rafts, swimmers or any moored or anchored boat.

Operation of PWC is allowed only from 9:30 a.m. to 1 hour before sunset.

You can call the Sheriffs department about the issue. I saw one out the other night after the sun was down...

Should I look for the cats more in deep holes now or more in shallow by bridges etc. Don't want your spot just general info. I know they can be any where but I'm thinking deep? Also would fat heads be a good choice now.

Well my ice season ended, it was an extremely short year, with not alot of opportunity to get out. Still caught some good fish and had some good times with friends, enjoy the video!

I'very never heard of anyone getting into them.  But I do see them cutting the surface early morning or evening.  Might be able to get a few on a fly rod.
