Norway/Games Lake

6 posts in this topic

Hey Everybody,

I'm a Metro Angler and I will be getting a chance to fish Norway Lake this weekend at my Brother-in-law's cabin. I've never been on that lake before, any recent reports? No need to divulge secrets, just wondering what the key species are in Norway and Games and how the action's been this year. Thanks!

We were out about 4 weeks ago on Games and caught into some Pike trolling around the southern end. Nothing to brag about, good eaters.

We've had good luck this time of year speed trolling 6" bagleys as fast as 6mph(4mph usually) for pike.

passage from Little Norway is almost dry to Games.

Games is holding pretty good water height but the lakes Northern fisherman D.welch stated that last 3 times out trolling he simply couldnt get a fish.He and his wife are Grandparent campers at Park 7.

Noticed lots of fish shallow, from shore to 5 feet.on south side, weedlines are really developing.

Maybe bobber fish suckers along weedlines?

I would try trolling 4" cranks along the weed edges. I have used is In-line planer boards, on Norway and Games with real good results.
