Rainy lake and river regulations..................

2 posts in this topic

So... I was looking at the Regs for Rainy and noticed that walleye between 17-28 must be released. But then on the River you can keep them up to 19.5".....what happens when I fish the river and the lake on the same day??? If I go to the river early and keep a 18" (lets say) then fish the lake an hour later and get stopped by a warden, then what??????

Just clean the river fish before going on the lake.

The top of page 11 of the fishing regs states: "While on or fishing waters with size restrictions it is illegal to possess any fish outside legal length limits."
