ATV Sale?

4 posts in this topic

I am thinking about selling my Atv and was wondering if there is a title on an ATV. I am still making payments on my star card, at good rate for awhile yet. Do they have a title or do I need to just write up a Bill of Sale and we are done? THanks

ATVs normally only come with a certificate of origin when purchased new, not an actual title. The registration card is what you need to transfer it. If you sell your ATV.....it says in small print on your registration card that you are to "deliver this card to the owner who must submit it with an application for transfer to the MN DNR within 15 days"

A bill of sale is probably not a bad idea in addition to the registration transfer.

Noon hour today a skid steer on tracks was down clearing the bottom of the awesome boat ramp at Wheelers Point.  This NCOR Update features Paul Johnson from River Bends Resorts....It is "game on" all the way along the river now.

I've wondered why there are no saugers on Vermilion.  Lots of them up at lake of the woods and fun "bonus" fish to catch.  Probably an easy answer but wondering thoughts.

River is open to the Wheelers Point Boat Landing today (backhoe was working on it at noon so it is only a few minutes away).  Paul Johnson from River Bends Resorts joins me on this update.  Lots of good info here.

Good luck!  Always a fun time of year!   I just finished my last day of ice fishing this season on 19 inches of ice yesterday in Ely.  Today I drove to Maple Grove and saw three boats on the lakes on the way down.   I used to be one of those guys.
