Happy Birthday Northlander. My B-day was on Sunday. Got to love summer birthdays. I was up at Leech over the weekend slaying the Perch and Nortens. I think we boated like 150 fish on Saturday with 13 people and two launches. A little family get together. My grandma caught like a 6 lb. Norten. It was funny. Have a good B-day. grin.gif

Happy B-day Steve. I'm heading out to chase some big ol' gills and largies. I'll catch a big one in your honor. A buddy of mine wants to come down and do the big lake walleye thing. How's September or do they move back into the river?

Thanks everyone. My sister and her husband and my nephew came over and I took them down to a local spot and got my nephew on some rockies. The kid is 6 and already a good fisherman. As we walked off the dock to go back home he looked at me and said. " Uncle Steve I got 21 fish and you only got 2 or 3". grin.gif We all just cracked up. As good a way to spend a B-Day as any I suppose.

I do think I helped create a monster though. Watch out guys in about 6-8 years this kid will be taking all our money. wink.gif

BMC nice grass carp. wink.gif Ill be on Leech the 13th-16th of Aug. you should stop buy Trappers and show me how to fish that pond.

Viking stop by the cancer walk tomorrow night. Starts at 3pm til 3pm Sat. Looks like we will neeed our rain suits. frown.gif

Thanks Steve. I'm so close to Leech and hate to say it but have only fished it 2x in my life. With Winnie and Bowstring so close, it's tough to pass them up!!! If I hear any current reports I'll drop you an email. Where's Trapper's located at on Leech? I'm off that stretch and may be able to get free and come down for a bevy or two.
