5 posts in this topic

What are the current slot limits on the White Iron chain. There's one for pike and walleye, correct?

Yep, slots on both. Can't remember them offhand. If nobody else gives you the easy answer, check the regs on the DNR Web site. They'll also know at Silver Rapids, where you're staying.

The slots for White Iron, Farm and Garden are the same. For Pike: release 24"-36", one over 36" in possession. For Eyes: release 17"-26", one over 26" in possession.

This includes the north branch of the Kawishiwi river.

I'll stand behind Steve's ice rods!   I was able to get a nice collection of them last week.  Some panfish rods that I hope to work out tomorrow, and some walleye/laker types that I used today.  Great feel, light, and well built.       I connected with a couple mid-20 inch lakers today and couldn't have enjoyed the fight any better on another rod.  Very happy!   Thanks Steve!
