Hello everybody, We had a great start to the 07 year nice weather and good fishing. The water temp over the weeekend hung around 52 to 54 degrees depending on what part of the lake you were on. Reports from Hunter WinField's guests and guides were very good, the North end sand 18-22ft held good numbers of fish on long lindy's with red hooks tiped with leeeches. Also the southeast rocks were nothing to sneeze at with limts being caught going deep in 24-28ft of water on lindy's with both leech and crawler, shallow rocks from 7-15ft put out some good numbers of fish as well with slip bobbers and leeches. If you can't get out in a boat our 200' pier at Hunter Winfield's has bait and tackle with great dock fishing, and for others we do have gas, oil, slips for rent, and a open launch that goes out three times daily.
