Did anyone fish Crane, SandPoint or Namakan (east) for the opener? If so, how did you do.

I/m the self appointed scout for the Skinny Minnows fishing group. We are coming up memorial weekend. We are the guys who play music at the voyaguer houseboat lodge every year memorial weekend friday. Was the fishing good? fair? poor? shallow? deep? We would really appreciate any tips and/or direction to produce at least one shore lunch. I'm the trip cook (thus the nickname hopsing)and the guys are getting pretty darn tired of beans and weenies. not that there is anything wrong with beans and weenied but have you ever been in a houseboat with 8 guys who have eaten beans for a few days. so....any and all fishing news is welcome.
