I am leaving the first saturday in August open. we will meet at the access at about an hour before sun up to assign boats and pair up guys. please if you want to play post so we can figure out how many boats we have. if you dont have a boat and still want to play post as well and we find some one for you to pair up with. PLEASE POST if interested. I will talk to the guys at Zorbaz and see if we can get a drink special for guys on saturday night after fishing. Cheffery also offered to let us have a shindig over at Trappers Landing on Leech, let me know whether you want to go to The Landing or do zorbaz thanks, Jonah

I will try hard to make it and I think it will work. I have a boat that could be used. But I don't know jack about Muskies so if someone knows what they are doing and would like to try and teach a walleye guy I am up for that. Johan if you need any help let me know as I should be around most weekends this summer.

I'm in, Mantrap or leech, either one will work for me but we might have to think about the guys with smaller boats. I will have my boat. It might also depend on teh weather.

Sorry, but I'll have to stick with a "definite maybe" response. My wife will 8+ months pregnant at that time and I may get something cut off if I try make it. 'Course, I may still try make it...

I'll have to see what comes up by then but it sounds like a good time. Never fished mantrap before but have fished plantagenet and elk in the area. Have a cabin near lake alice that we stay at. I have a 16' alumnacraft with 40hp merc and may have room for one if I can make it.

I'm about 90% sure I can make it but cannot be sure until closer to the event. I do have a boat if needed. Doesn't matter to me which place between Zorbaz or Trappers landing. How will the pairings be worked out? If possible would be nice to have experienced people with lesser experienced people.

the plan is to put experienced people with guys how either dont musky fish or dont fish mantrap. i am invisioning kind of a pro/am style set up. Jonah

One thing I will note. My boat is over in Park Rapids all summer. So if it saves someone that is a experienced having to trailer a long distance let me know we can work something out.

I would die to join up with ya fella's, however, I will have only been home from Iraq for a little more than a week at that point, and don't think mama would be very happy with me. If this is going to be an annual thing, i will for sure be in.

Hey Jd I was out there last weekend fishing for pike with jigs and rapalas had one buddy land 40in and my other buddy got a 38 one other real nice one we had on but got broke off. Lake looked to be in real good shape, lots of god pads and weed beds to throw at. good luck

I am new to the site but was in on the 2007 sturgon ex. From the Evansville area 1 1/2 hours south of rapids. Depends on the weather me and a buddy might be up for the ski fish. Banking on the other guy going. And the weather man its hot. bite is slow down here to much pressure and hot weather. let U know a forsure or not sooner to the date. Got the university ato stay in Emmaville if we make it up.
