mid june in a 14 footer with 15 hp.

hey guys, im heading up to mille lacs june 16th -18th with the family and am looking to bring my boat up there. it is only a 14 foot alumacraft with a 15 hp merc. but im looking to get in on some good fish. obviously i dont wanna bring out to the middle of the lake where the majority of the fishing will be for eyes, but i'd still like to give it a shot. what other places might some good fish be that a boat this size could handle?

As long as you keep a sane mind about the weather you should be fine. I took a boat almost identical to that out on whitefish chain of lakes and the wind kicked up and I was fighting 2-3' rollers. Got in safely. Be careful and keep an eye on the weather when you go out.

If the wind isn't too bad, you could go anywhere!!! Just watch, and listen for weather forecasts!!!!
