Mealworms

Has anyone ever used mealworms for open water sunnies on Vermilion? Any luck? I've used waxworms before, but they are harder to keep than mealworms. Just wondering!

I have tried mealworms for crappies in the winter, but they did not work as well as waxies.

I think that they would work fine for sunfish though.
