Saw a ruffed grouse once, had a small garter snake in its crop. I guess a barnyard chicken eats crazy stuff, too. Anyone have a similar story?

I found a mouse in the crop of a Rooster Pheasant one time.

I didn't know a pheasant would eat a rodent.

I saw a rooster chasing a mouse down a snow filled waterway after a blizzard one time. Shot a mallard drake with a pretty good sized crawdad in it's crop also.
