Monday 4/30 Report

[Fisherman For a Lifetime]

I hit the water about 5:20 AM and since the water was like glass before the higher winds forecasted, I went up to a couple "usually" good spots around Hudson - but caught no Walleyes.

Buzzed down to the Kinni at about 7 AM and saw Zero caught all day with only about 6-8 boats around. I caught a 14.95" Walleye (back He went) and caught a 22" Walleye at about 9:30.

Got checked by a CO at 10:30 (who buzzed up from Prescott) showed him my 22" walleye and he said "That's the first walleye we saw caught today".

Caught it on a heavy Red Fireball with a wad od Nightcrawler on it.

Also caught a 8-9 Lb. Carp on a Crawler - nice fight!!

Thanks for the report. I thought maybe less fishing pressure would have helped the bite, but I guess not. It can only get better.
