No kidding about the Packers. With Vikings playing the AFC east last year, it should be 3 years min, if ever, before we have to stomach watching him playing against us.

I bet he does well for NE.

Look for 90 catches, 1400 yards and 14 TD's from Mr. Moss this year. If Belichek can't get production out of him nobody can.

How the mighty have fallen. 2 years ago Moss was worth a #7 overall pick plus a starting linebacker. Now he's a 4th rounder? N.E. always seems to get these star players when they're value is at the low point of there career.

You must have him on your fantasy team, Moss has only 11 td's last two years and 1500 yards. You are looking at career numbers for him, someone who has lost more then a step. Brady is not know for his Deep arm so I think you would be lucky to see half of them numbers. Actually I don't even see him doing that and I am a Brady fan (fantasy). Wait and see, just glad the vikes did not bring him back. This will be his tenth season in the league, Somebody is getting old ( not me of course!)

It just depends upon his health. If he's healthy, he will light it up. He has something to prove and nobody wants to have to deal with a healthy Moss with a chip on his shoulder... His numbers in Oakland are greatly affected by a couple nagging injuries and one of the worst offenses in the entire league. Its safe to say that things will be different in NE if he's at all healthy.

I don't have him on my fantasy team. I just think this is his last chance and Belichek will either get him to perform or he will be cut. If he performs he will be very good again.

I heard on the radio that when Moss was working out for the Patriots last week he ran a 4.3 40 yard dash. He hasn't lost a step and if he did he is still way faster than most.

But...as will always happen with Moss, he will be double covered most of the time. His numbers have dropped not just because of injury, but also because the threat is covered better and leaves other shorter patterns open. That is what happened in MN...Moss opened up other things like a running game and shorter passing routes. spread the defense out even more and many more things open up as well.

Is he still a threat? You bet...but I don't think it is in the same manner. Brady will find other open receivers and move the ball down the field easily with shorter passes. Moss just opens up other avenues. Same thing with the other wide-receiver "dolts" out there who complain about not getting the ball enough and the me, me, me, attitude.

Tripleplay

Well worth the gain versus what they paid for him from the perspective of NE. I think the same can be said for Jackson to San Fran.

How many fourth rounders actually end up starting in the NFL and how soon. Usually they are developmental players that take a year or two so NE basically traded away a roster spot or a developmental slot for a likely starter and maybe more. I like the chance and I'm not a NE rube. If he becomes a cancer in the locker room cutting him is a lot easier when he only cost you that fourth rounder.

He may make Donte Stallworth a whole lot better since Moss can stretch the field so maybe the Patriots benefit even if Moss doesn't end up with great numbers. (never worked for the other Oakland receivers so that is just a guess!)

I had seen on a couple of sites yesterday that the Pats gave a 4th rounder this year and a 1st rounder next year. Anybody else see that? If that is the case the Raiders got a pretty good deal, they gave us a 1st and 7th round, and Harris.

4.3 was reported as being in training session, but no one seems to know where.. Now I have seen where it was 4.29 time, just keeps getting better...

Just a 4th rounder this year (the 110 pick over all)

Nah, I doubt he will reach any where close to those numbers.. Brady SPREADS the ball too much! Besides, Moss is old now and a little slower then he use to be... Patriots, if i might add, also has a good defense if they can stay healthy. Thus, Moss won't be used too much because they won't be throwing many deep balls because they will attempt to run down the clock with their awesome running game....What will Moss do for the Patriots? He will lessen the number of times opposing defense stacks up to stop the run.. There will be less blitzs, and Moss will open up the running game even more.. Moss will also help other wr get better because he will draw double team coverage, perhaps even triple team lol... This is what Moss will do for the Patriots.

I agree with that analysis. He still is a decent fantasy pick though. He'll have better numbers than he had with the atrocious Raiders.

The last few days have been pretty hot on areas of the river for a lot of nice bass between 16-18 inches, topping out at 19 inches for my largest. Many were fish located on spawning beds, some hitting aggressively and immediately, and some not interested in even acknowledging the bait. I started out with a 4 inch wacky worm on a VMC wacky weedless jighead, but found that I was getting larger, more aggressive fish by switching to a 5 inch wacky. I would Imagine that the spawn will be all but over within a few days.

Hi folks... I wanna specifically address fishermen and women, boaters, outdoorsmen and women, and their spouses and significant others. Also, anyone who believes that our right to access public waterways supported by our tax dollars, and managed for our benefit by the DNR, should not be infringed upon by special interests... listen up... You may or may not know about a new program in Wright County to limit access to three lakes in the Annandale area where wealthy lake-home associations have coerced the County Board into implementing a pre-launch "AIS Inspection Station" in the city of Annandale. Anyone wishing to launch a watercraft on Lakes Sylvia, Pleasant, and John, must first travel to the city of Annandale (miles away from any boat landing), go through an inspection process, and be given permission to launch their boat in the form of a zip-tie on the trailer. There are MANY problems with this inspection regime. One problem is its hours of operation. It is open from sunup to sundown. This means that if you wish to go fishing in the evening, or at night, or early in the morning, you must first travel to Annandale THE DAY BEFORE you wish to access the lake, and get your zip-tie. Needless to say, this will undoubtedly prove to be a big enough burden on boaters and anglers that many will simply choose to go elsewhere, which, we contend, is the unstated goal of the Lake Associations who have funded this effort to lobby the County Board. They want non-residents off "their" lake. Another problem is the fact that these lakes are already unfortunately infested with AIS, which means inspecting boats on the way IN to the lake makes no logical sense. Only inspecting boats in their way OUT of an infested lake will have any chance of slowing or halting the spread of AIS. Another problem is that local businesses in Annandale, Southhaven, and to a lesser extent Clearwater and Maple Lake, will be adversely affected by the reduction in commerce that WILL occur as people from outside these fine communities decide to take their watercraft elsewhere. Another problem is the scope of this program, and the stated goals of those who are promoting it. They have said point-blank that they hope to have every county in MN look to Wright County as an example of what can be pushed through, as Lake Associations state-wide are organizing their resources and their political clout in an effort to see similar County ordinances implemented throughout Minnesota. This could, in the future, lead to a scenario where every boater who does not own lake property will first be required to travel to a central County Inspection Station in whatever county they wish to launch their boat, before they will be given permission to launch at a lake that may be many miles away from the station. We believe this is an infringement on the rights of Minnesota boaters and sportsmen to freely and responsibly access our public waterways. Even the DNR is skeptical of this program, but since it is a county matter, they are accepting it for now. Sorry for the lengthy statement. Now I'd like to ask you to take action. We have organized a social media page, over 600-strong now.... Our goal is to gather as many concerned people as we can in this group - and then appeal to the Chambers of Commerce in these fine cities, to organize themselves and appeal to the County Board for a reversal of this misguided policy, on the grounds that it will harm them economically as people take their dollars elsewhere to avoid the infringement of the inspection regime. If you haven't already, and you are concerned about liberty to access public waterways without undue burdens placed upon your access, would you consider lending your voice to ours, and joining our group? Thank you! Join Us!

My wife, son and I we're on Crystal Lake in Burnsville several years ago. My son was 14-1/2 yrs. old at the time, I use to let him drive the gravel roads up at deer camp all the time and let him back the trailer into the spot, he got pretty good at it. Anyway, back to the boat ramp at Crystal Lake. I dropped the wife and son off on the dock and waited my turn to load up...a local cop was at the ramp and my wife asked if it was ok if he backed in, he didn't mind.. vehicles were waiting and my son drops it in on the first try! Proud dad moment 👍👍
