Six weeks from this coming Saturday, and I'll be back on the Big V!! Really I'm not that excited.

Off to the new Cabelas (it opened last Friday) store in Hazelwood, Mo. after work today to look over some of the "I really need that" items.

The boat needs an after winter clean-up but no biggie there. It's been running on the Mississippi already this year. Had some minor tweaks made to the motor height to stop a splashing issue a few weeks ago. That also gave me a little more top end, and easier steering.

Won't be long now! We'll be on the west end at Life of Riley. 22 foot Crest fishing pontoon, with a 115hp Johnson 4 stroke on the back. If you see us on the water, stop and say hi!

I am assuming you are the one that did battle with the Everett Bay Boat ramp last year and ended up coming over and using our ramp to pull out. Am I correct??

That's me! It was a mighty battle. One damaged prop, brand new too. That hurt. I know better now.

I'm sure that we'll be down your way on the trip. I have three newbies along, and I'm sure we'll spend some time looking at the lake. We'll probably stop by for gas and to say hi!

We'll be up on June 2 and will be headed back on June 9. Most likely will head your way at some point in time! Let's get together. Cell coverage on the west end is tough for me until I get on the lake.
