pt. douglas park under bridge?

anyone ever fished over under or near the bridge between mn and prescott over there? was thinking about giving it a try as soon as possible to get out from shore. thought id give some nightcrawlers or minnows, or maybe some cutbait on the bottom. like to catch any kind of fish. im in it more for the fight than anything, but i'd prefer walleyes or cats. any info. would be appreciated.

I used to go nightfishing there from shore. Never really caught anything but sheephead, rock bass, and eel. In the summer time I think the boat traffic is WAAAAAAY to heavy through there for any fish to want to hangout there.

I would suggest a long pole to get the bait out there, have caught many walleye and sauger right around there. I would use a 10' pole or my 12' crappie rig. Get that bait out there, and it will get hit.
