to regulate ballast water on ships entering the Great Lakes. There is a new disease that was found in lake huron I think that could have come in on ballast water. I read somewhere were the spiny water flea was found in either rainy lake or LOTW. Anyways, it's under "we don't need this" on the BWCA/Duluth forum and then there is a online petiton. pass it on

Here the link to the discussion about the new virus that is showing up. There is also form letter than can be sent to our lawmakers asking them to support some kind a measure to limit the spread of this virus.

Sign it boys, its for a good cause, the more signatures we get the better. This will prevent more invasive species from intruding our inland waters. This is a petition that every outdoorsman needs to sign.
