Muskie action

Anybody been chasing skis lately? I have been spending a lot of time on bass the last month and have been doing well. Decent bass water up here. Its time to chase some skies or big pike, any reports? Thanks AJ

Fished for muskies the other night. We landed 3 small ones 30", 32" and 36". All on red and black bucktails shallow. This proably dosen't help you much without a lake name but just can't give that away. Good luck

I was out the other day and got a 42" and a small pike. Had two other strikes but did not see what they were. I was working the shallows. Not so sure where matters to much right now. If it's anything like last year, for myself anyhow, things slowed down into August. Never saw a big pike, not to say they are not there but that water gets rather warm and I could see the esox moving out to the lake as summer goes on. Sorry I was not much help but I have not been fishing the river to long and still searching myself. Good luck, Hwood.

was going to hit the river today but the wind was blowing off the lake and it was 50 degrees! I decided to get out of the wind, tried a smaller lake and glad I did, much warmer and not as much wind, I got 2 nice pike 1st was a 32incher and the 2nd brute was 37 1/2, They both came deep, few nice bass also, only had disposable camera or I would post pic of the big pike.
