Going out to Boulder tonight, just wondering if anybody has been out there recently and if they would like to devildge their secrets.

I was on Island Sunday evening. Walleyes on or near humps. Using live bait rigs, minnows were better than leeches. Nothing to write home about, but the bite was steady.

ewirz,

Was out on boulder last sunday morning at 7am, and left at 9am. Caught around 50 walleyes and kept enough for a meal. Anything under 12 inches and over 14 went back in.
Was truly a blast.

13 feet of water was the only depth we caught any eyes at. jig and minnow working it very very slow on the bottom. fish bit very light but for about an hour we caught walleye on every cast. Too fast they didnt bite, slowed down the presentation and nailed them.

good luck.

WOW!! beaverlakeman - Next time I'm going Duluth, I might have to give you a call. How fun was that? Those 12-14 inchers sure fry up good!!! Boulder's one of my favorite lakes in the area. Not a bad two hours of fishing!!

It's part of where I got the name Leaky, but that's a whole nother story for a whole nother day. The other half of how Leaky came about is downright funny if you ever played Little League baseball. Again, another story.

Captain-

We did alright. As you know we were in a canoe and didn't feel like paddling a long way. Caught about half dozen, all cigars. Was a great evening all around. Beautiful weather, caught some fish, not many people.
