Island Lake Bite?

I'm heading up to Island Lake this weekend and was wondering how the the walleye bite has been in the past week. Deep or shallow...crawlers or minnows? Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

Try using a 1/8th oz. jig(bright color) tipped with a shiner if you can find them, otherwise rainbow chub. The fish seem to be in deeper water during the day (15-20) and move up shallow (6-10) in the evenings. Troll during the day and in the evening try anchoring and cast with a very slow retrieve.
