ODE TO THE BIG ROCK

Went fishing last night in Becker and caught 5 smallies that could go into an aquarium. Ran out of gas and decided to chill on this big rock and throw out a worm and take in the scenery. Minus beer though Ughhhhhhhh! Then a big splash erupted from the water 25 feet from ME BOY! Grabbed my other rod and threw out a top water. Four casts later a fish did a V-line toward's my lure and the rest is history. Measured it and it was 20 inches! Sweeeeet, broke my old record of 17 inches. Sometimes being a bump on a log, this time a rock pays off. Had a doe and two fawns cross the river about 75 yards away also. That's my story!
