Well we got 1 ok sein right away and then 0. Some BIG Smelt if ya know what I mean. Released for all you trollers to catch later.
The lakers are shallow. Only boats catching them yesterday were in the 10' range. Silver smelt imitating Husky Jerks and Bombers were best. People out deeper didnt do nothin.

Ill be out the next 3 nights weather permitting. Who wants to give it a shot? Maybe meet up someplace?

I am heading down to the point tonight. Was out last night and got a few, but most were the smaller males that just couldn't wait any longer to run. Seems like the same thing happened to me Northlander. First couple of dips were pretty good, but about midnight it was done.
Where do you plan on being at? First beach after the bridge, or all the way down the point?

Cheffery - I have a extra chest waders you can use. They are lighter vs. my 5 mil neo's. I AM going to meet up with you folks. Mrs. DuluthGuy used to be my partner in crime for the second set of hands on things. But alas she gave me twin girls in Oct and I am flying solo on outdoor activities. I will plan on showing up next 2 night @ the Tot Lot. I have my father's net from the 70's but will buy a seine.
