I will be launching around 6 or 6:30am from St. Croix Bluffs this Sat. Is anyone else going out of there in the morning? It would be nice to finally meet some of you out on the river. I know a lot of you talk and already know each other, but I feel like a stranger out there. Let me know.

I have a trip planned early saturday morning, I launch from hubs in Hastings around 4ish, thats the same time I go out every weekend, usually off the river by 9 or shortly after.

I am hoping to be out on Sat AM. I will be driving a 96 white Ford ext. cab pulling a green and offwhite crestliner with a 50 HP Evinrude tiller. This will be my first trip to the river with my "new to me" boat so I will probably be the one holding up the line trying to figure out how to unhook my winch or something stupid blush.gif If you see me feel free to stop over for a chat. By the way my name is Bill. Hope to see you and good luck,

Dieguy

I am hoping to get out there as well on Saturday morn. 5am - 10am. I'll be fishing from Catfish Bar to 94 Bridge. Biege Smoker Craft with 75 Merc. I'll probably be chasing White/Silver Bass and then hit smallies. Hmm...I am thinking, I might just go muskie hunting afterwards.

Good to hear. I will be out like I said around 6 or so. I have a Tan GMC Sierra, and a Blue/grey lund Pro-V with a 150 V-max. My name is Ryan. Make sure any of you say hi. I usually chat with anyone on the river anyway. I usually fish just south of the Kini. I will go just about anywhere though, it doesn't take too long to get there.

Wali, where do you go from Hubs? As in, where do you fish after you launch? I live maybe 3 minutes from there.

It is  pretty shiny piece of equipment. I was able to purchase it on my scab job wages 😆 I don't think I'll update the electronics any time soon, 3 screens is enough?

🤣 not near as shiny and spendy as that livescope toy. Thats kinda like bling ain't it? besides i'm on a paultry union pension  🫣

Just another "Words matter"   Voting on school levy. This was posted on the School "education district" building door.  We had a nice cold walk all the way around the building! The arrow was added, after we educated them! 😒

Obviously this is more of a hot topic due to forward facing sonar. With that being said, I know people who have pulled crappies out of basins 40+ deep since the fl-8 and zercom flashers came out. That's over 30 years ago. I do think there's a push to ban these in MN and I could see them doing it here. They'll have to pay my livescope from my cold dead hands 😆 on days I can't catch a walleye jigging or rigging it's nice to turn it on and throw corks at individual fish

It wasn't just you, I was fishing west of you about an hour on Monday. Fished 8am-4pm, no fish, two keeper walleye and one small one from 4pm-630pm. Marked a lot of fish, they would come up to a jig and swim away. They were skittish to the dead stick too

I wonder like divers, if we let them decompress every 10' for 1/2hr. If that would help?  🤔  It would slow the bite down a bit!  🤭
