Smelt Run?

So, Can you people keep us posted on what's happening with the smelt run? I would like to get up there again for that. If for nothing else, to eat at some of the smelt feeds going on at the time. I suppose its a few weeks away still.

Your best bet would be seining on the point. Keep checking in. When its time there'll be postings.

As stated on previous posts we will keep everyone up to date on the Smelt run if we have one to speak of. Myself I will also be hitting Ashland.

Mid April you could start looking. End of April is a close average to peak times.

Has anybody hit the break wall at the end of the point?? have to have boat to get in there but no matter which way the wind is blowing it should be protected and its all sand with a gradual slope, its sort of a natural trap something like the lift brdge area.. Took a look at the beach today, lots of ice/snow on the beach>>>later the load
