I would say if your going to Washington, yes you should get into some good fishing.

For the sunfish,I personally would work the south side of Bakers bay from 8-12fow.Another good spot would be around the grassy island area. When searching for the nicer sunnies I usually pull a smaller spinner with a crawler to search for those bull gills.Another approach would be to cast some of the new Tadpole spiners from JB lures. You could also try the flat area around squirrel nest point.

For eyes I would also start my search around the grassy island area. You could also find some eyes around the squirrels nest point. For bait if you are fishing during the day I would pull some blades with crawlers or leeches.

For the crappies this time of year I would during the day start looking around some of the deeper holes by third point, east of second point or Bakers bay again. The Tadpole spinner would also work for them.Sometimes I also like to use a go-devil from Scenic Tackle tipped with a waxie.

Good luck to you and your dad and I hope this is of some help to you. smile.gif

Great advice Tom. Another suggestion I would make is trolling or casting crankbaits on the inside or outside of distinct weedlines.

When your by Grassy Island for eyes try using Team Otters crainkbaits.Morning and evening would also be good in this area.
