Just got back from a weekend on the lake. Friday, fishing wasnt too bad. we found quite a few fish in shallow wind blown bays but nothing too big. Saturday, the wind died and the fish were not as plentiful. We found some on some of the deeper humps in about 19-25 ft of water and they were nicer fish too. Boated a 21 1/2 incher and a 22 incher along with a handful of 18-19 inchers. Sunday, we found some fish shallower again in 10-15 ft and there was a decent mix of eater fish along with some slot fish with the biggest being 23 inches. 90 percent of our fish came on a crawler with a long snell (3-4ft) We did get some fish on leeches too. Evening seemed to be the best time of the day and It looked like we had just missed a sizeable mayfly hatch but with the lack of wind, it looked like most of em didnt even get off the water. Headin up again next weekend. Good luck everyone.

Good report. I will be up at the cabin for the 4th of July weekend and back again for the week of July 10th for vacation.

Anyone else up those times on the East end would be nice to meet some FMers. I target smallies form 5:00am 10:00am each morning, spend the day with the family and get back on the water from 7:00-9:00pm for the eyes or Musky.

If you see a guy in a black Lund Mr. Pike with poles everywhere make sure to say hi.

My Goal is 50 smallies each morning and 10 eyes and one Musky each night.

I will have the laptop with me to check in daily and see the reports and who is fishing. I will try to post results through out the trip.
