Went over this afternoon to shore fish at Prior. While the sun was out, nothing was really biting but when the clouds were blocking out the direct sunlight the sunnies and bass were biting, nothing of any size. I was using a bobber with a medium leach about 2' down in some weeds. Had a brief downpour and during that time they wanted something moving so I switched over to a spinner bait, which produced a couple of small bass. After the rain passed it was back to leach and bobber for a couple more sunnies which were actually no bad sized (6"-7"). I did see the guy next to me lose a bigger bass, and a gentleman who was fishing the other side of the road came over and said he had been catching decent sized sunnies and bass.

I noticed that after the rain there was a lot of activity right at the shoreline like the fish were looking for things that had washed in to the lake.

Big boomers and clouds moved in so I tucked my tail and headed to the car.
