Here is the info from the DNR web site.

Minnesota DNR Special Regulations - By County

St. Louis County

Crane walleye 13"-17" harvest slot, 1 over 23"

Kabetogama walleye 13"-17" harvest slot, 1 over 23"

Namakan walleye 13"-17" harvest slot, 1 over 23"

Sand Point walleye 13"-17" harvest slot, 1 over 23"

There doesn't appear to be a special reg in Voyaguers Park for Northern Pike.

For northern pike on Namakan and Sand Point Lakes the limit is 6 (with no size restrictions listed.)

On Kab and Crane the limit for pike is 3 (not more than 1 over 30" may be taken daily.)

Where did you find that information? In the DNR regulations book, the only special regulation that I can find for Kab, Namakan, Crane and Sand Point is the slot limit for walleyes. The regulations for northerns are the same for all four lakes; three in possession and not more than one over 30".

Namakan and Sand Point are border waters.

Along those lines, where on the DNR website is the link for comments on the slot for Kab?

This being the last year I'd like to comment and read what others are thinking.

That would explain the difference.

Just a reminder, the current slot regulation for walleyes is up at the end of 2006 season – February 25, 2007. You can be assured that the DNR will be implementing a new slot and/or limits for walleyes by next year’s opener.

The DNR welcomes your suggestions and comments, especially if you cannot attend the informational meetings in the fall and spring.

You can call, write or e-mail your comments and suggestions to Kevin Peterson 218-286-5220, address: 392 Hwy 11 East, International Falls, MN 56649 or e-mail: Kevin. [email protected]

Good Luck!

I didn't write that. I just copied and pasted it. I have to give credit to PH for that.

It is  pretty shiny piece of equipment. I was able to purchase it on my scab job wages 😆 I don't think I'll update the electronics any time soon, 3 screens is enough?

Just another "Words matter"   Voting on school levy. This was posted on the School "education district" building door.  We had a nice cold walk all the way around the building! The arrow was added, after we educated them! 😒

Obviously this is more of a hot topic due to forward facing sonar. With that being said, I know people who have pulled crappies out of basins 40+ deep since the fl-8 and zercom flashers came out. That's over 30 years ago. I do think there's a push to ban these in MN and I could see them doing it here. They'll have to pay my livescope from my cold dead hands 😆 on days I can't catch a walleye jigging or rigging it's nice to turn it on and throw corks at individual fish

It wasn't just you, I was fishing west of you about an hour on Monday. Fished 8am-4pm, no fish, two keeper walleye and one small one from 4pm-630pm. Marked a lot of fish, they would come up to a jig and swim away. They were skittish to the dead stick too

I wonder like divers, if we let them decompress every 10' for 1/2hr. If that would help?  🤔  It would slow the bite down a bit!  🤭
