I'm heading up to the DL area a week from Monday for a day of bass fishing. I did some research at the DNR website and decided Big Sugar Bush east of Calloway would be a fun lake to fish. Anyone fished this lake lately or have a better suggestion? I'm looking for a lake around 500 acres or so in size with pads, laydowns, some docks, points, etc. Any info would be great.

Thanks,

you picked the right lake for bass fishing i fish that lake all winter and catch a good number of crappies and smaller walleyes. i would stay in the smaller part of the lake and either stay on the left-hand shoreline or the northwest bay its a good lake for panfish
