Change in plans

Fellas, was going to Red tommorrow but don't feel like white knuckling it for 8 hours with this snow. So the boys and I will make a shorter trip to Mille Lacs instead. Haven't been paying much attention to this site for that reason. The only 2 places I've been to in the winter are hunters and red door. Mostly looking for a place to go that if fish are not biting, able to move within a reasonable distance and so on. Bringing my 2 sons, 8,11 with a pull behind. Any hints beforte leaving tommorrow morning? Rather catch 10 jumbos a day with a chance at a walleye than all day 7 inchers. Thanks guys for any help. Will report on monday.
