I am rebuilding a cantilever boat lift and will be placing it in the water in the center of my U-shaped dock. The lake is a bit mucky on the bottom from the number of leaves that accumulate on the bottom. Does anyone have any suggestions as to what I could put on the bottom of the lake to rest the corner posts of this lift so they don't sink as easy? I am curious what others have used. Thanks for your advice.
I might have missed a guess, but here are the ones that I noted:
JerkinLips – March 27th, then April 7th
Brianf. – March 28th
Bobberwatcher – April….
MikeG3Boat – April 10th
SkunkedAgain – early April, then April 21st
Definitely a tough year for guesses, as it seemed to be a no-brainer early ice out. Then it got cold and snowed again.
